Facing + reinforcement in one unit
Each unit arrives with the facing panel and reinforcement tail woven as a single piece of mesh — no separate connectors to fail.
For reinforced soil walls, embankments and slope stabilization. Terracare soil reinforcement units combine a gabion or mesh facing with an integral double-twisted mesh reinforcement tail that extends back into the compacted fill.

Terracare soil reinforcement units combine a gabion or mesh facing with an integral double-twisted mesh reinforcement tail that extends back into the compacted fill. Layer by layer, the tails lock the soil mass together to form a reinforced soil (mechanically stabilised earth) wall or steep slope that is faster and more economical than a conventional retaining wall.

Facing can be stone-filled gabion or a vegetated, geotextile-lined mesh face.
Well-graded local fill can be used, saving on imported material.
Flexible reinforced mass tolerates weak foundations better than rigid walls.
No formwork, no curing; walls rise as fast as the fill can be compacted.
Reinforcement length, spacing and mesh grade selected to the project's geotechnical design.
Typical specifications. Wire diameters, mesh type, coating class and unit sizes are confirmed against your project specification and IS 16014:2024 at the time of order. Test certificates are supplied with each despatch.

Talk to Our TeamIt is a retaining structure where layers of compacted fill are reinforced with wire-mesh tails that are woven into a gabion facing. The soil mass, not just the facing, carries the load, allowing tall walls and steep slopes at lower cost than concrete.
On highway and railway embankments, hill-road widening, landslide repairs and bridge approaches — anywhere a steep, stable slope or wall is needed quickly on variable ground.
Normally well-graded granular fill is specified, but local fill is often acceptable subject to the geotechnical design. Our team can review your fill reports.
